কুষ্টিয়া জেলা শহর থেকে বাস, সিএনজি, অটো রিকসা, টেম্পু যোগে পূর্ব দিকে আলাউদ্দিন নগর মোড় হয়ে সোজা উত্তরে কবি রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর বাড়ি আসা যায়, দুরত্ব প্রায় ১৩ কিলো। কুমারখালী উপজেলা বাসষ্টান্ড থেকে  সিএনজি, অটো রিকসা, টেম্পু, রিক্সা যোগে সোজা উত্তরে দুর্গাপুর গ্রাম-বাখই গ্রাম-মির্জাপুর গ্রাম এর মাঝপথ দিয়ে প্রায় ৭ কিলো পথ অতিক্রম করে অথবাকুমারখালী উপজেলা বাসষ্টান্ড থেকে  সিএনজি, অটো রিকসা, টেম্পু, রিক্সা যোগে সোজা পশ্চিমে আলাউদ্দিন নগর মোড় হয়ে সোজা উত্তরে কবি রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর বাড়ি আসা যায়, দুরত্ব প্রায়-১১ কিলো পথ।

Shilaidah was named after the name of his elder brother Shelley. The English Shelli's sister-in-law, which was located on the west side of the Shilaidah Khiva Ghat on the bank of Shilaidah river Padma. Once the Padma river erupted, the blue clay was destroyed by the river's river. From that onwards, Shilidah was named Shilidah. Rabindranath Tagore came to Shilaidaha to take care of the zamindari. He came to Shilaidah and compiled his famous poems, songs, even Nobel-inspired Gitanjali. He spent the important time of his life in Shilaidah. He used to come from Calcutta to the river along the banks of Bajra (now present on the second floor of the Thakurbari with the iron boat). He encouraged people's education here, built educational institutions. Rabindranath Tagore (born 7th May 1861 - died 7th August, 1941) was a pioneer Bengali poet, novelist, musician, dramatist, painter, short story writer, essayist, actor, vocalist and philosopher. He is considered the greatest literary of the language of the language. Rabindranath was conferred with the Guru, Kaviguru and the World Book Award. 52 books of Rabindranath, 38 plays, 13 novels and 36 essays and other prose compositions are published in his lifetime or immediately after his death. He has included 95 short stories and 1915 songs respectively in the collection of fiction and songs. The unpublished writings of Rabindranath published and published in the book, in 32 volumes, were published in the name of Rabindra Rachanyabali.
